Interviews: IAMMERAKI
On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Rock artist, IAMMERAKI from Australia. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came
out just like that?
I sat down and just started brainstorming things that represented me,
originally, the project was going to be named after me but I wanted to
sort of separate myself from the project so I could focus more on how
the music speaks on its own.
2.Why did you want to play this genre?
I grew up listening to every genre imaginable, my family always
exposed me to different music. Rock just stuck with me for years, so I
started experimenting within the genre. Which eventually lead me to
the sound I carry now. I am planning on experimenting with more
production techniques in future songs.
3. Each band member favourite band?
That’s tough, all time favourite would have to be Foo Fighters but
right now I’m absolutely in love with The 1975 and Catfish and the
Bottlemen
4. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
My biggest inspiration stems from trauma and emotions. I focus a lot
on how I feel and think about things.
5. Whom would you like to feature with?
My dream would be a track with Hayley Williams or Brenden Urie
6. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for
beginners on how to beat that?
I suffer from extreme stage fright; I don’t really have a way to beat
it but when I get on stage I lose myself in my music. That helps take
the edge off.
7. What bands have inspired you the most?
For this project? Bands like Stand Atlantic and the way they use
modern production have been the biggest inspiration.
8. What do you think of your fans?
It’s still early phases of the musical journey but the support I’ve
had from people so far has been amazing!
9. What do you think of our site?
It looks like a fantastic platform for upcoming bands to get their
names out there! Love to see the support for newcomers!
10. Something add?
Thank you for the opportunity to chat about the project
