Interviews: Terror Parade

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Rock/Heavy Metal band, Terror Parade from Australia. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We wanted a name that had shock value and edge.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We love all aspects of shock Rock, the music , theatrics and fashion. Our favourite part is scaring people with our performance.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No, we knew of each other and then linked through the local music scene

4. Each band member favourite band?

Zichxyna - Dir en grey

Darkness - Frank carter and the rattle snakes

Madman - Marilyn Manson

Nightwalker - Metallica

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Creating a escape from reality for our fans. Having somewhere that's relatable but also some what a fantasy really creates an escape through music from everyday mundane life. We also aim to write for the live show and the fans its a full stage show and musically at 110% the entire show.

6. Where was your last gig?

Brightside on the Outside stage.

7. Whom would you like to feature with?

It would be amazing to feature with Misfits or even Rob Zombie.

9. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We all had stage fright when starting out, playing smaller shows with less people can really help. As well as remembering to just have fun. Always a bit nervous before shows bit still want to get out there and perform

10. What bands have inspired you the most?

We are very much a mixed band of inspirations from different bands all over the world. Originally bands like Wednesday 13, Misfits, Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie and many more set us on the path to create Terror Parade.

11. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

How do you get your voice to sound like that!? Both for our vocalist Zichxyna and Bassist Darkness.

12. What do you think of your fans?

We really love it when they go the extra and get dressed up with us. The more of us freaks out there the better!

13. What do you think of our site?

It's a great way to keep up with smaller bands that are worth looking out for. We are looking forward to seeing some other awesome upcoming bands be featured.
