Interviews: BLACK VIOLENCE

We have had the opportunity to interview the  Metal band BLACK VIOLENCE. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or come out just like that?

Rafè: The name Black Violence came out after we chose what to tell people; we highlight a rotten and dark society. 

2. Why did you want to play this genre? 

Rafè: We love metal and Hard Rock, but we also love all the genres like Blues, Classic Rock, also pop music. 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

John Lie: in 2006 recorded an album with Robin McAuley, with the band called Demon Angels. Rafè and Anthony (Father and son), were an acoustic duo and played rock and blues like jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and other classics. 

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Rafè: Marilyn Manson

Anthony: Rammstein

John Lie: Motley Crue 

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

There isn't a thing or a person that inspires us about songwriting; basically when Anthony starts composing a riff we follow him; yes, we have a particular way of composing... Ahahah! 

6. Where was your last gig? 

As a live band, it was at “Gasoline”, a club in Italy (Brescia). In a few weeks, we will have the release party of the new album, maybe in our private studio. 

7. Where would you like to act? 

We love “Wacken”... It would be a dream for us, but also Hellfest, Ozzfest; so big festivals! 

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

Rafè: Till Lindermann of Rammstein

Anthony: Jimi Hendrix

John Lie: Tommy Lee of Motley Crue 

9. Whom not? 

Rafè: Dream Theater

Anthony: Red Hot chili Peppers

John Lie: Def Leppard  

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

Before going on stage we relax by remembering our adventures and everything we have done to get here. We’re a family! 

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Rafè: Marilyn Manson, Rammstein, Muse

Anthony: Slipknot, Rammstein.

John Lie: Motley Crue, Korn, Disturbed. 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

Rafè: To have sex in a live club dressing room, the door was a curtain...

Anthony: Use the back of the amps as a bathroom... I hated that club!

John Lie: A fan asked me to be spanked after a show, so I came home with my ass red!  

13. What do you think of your fans? 

We love our fans! Every concert is a new adventure to live together. 

14. What do you think of our site?

We think that your website is really cool for metal lover, you can find what ever you want for this genre.
