Interviews: WOLF

We have had the opportunity to interview the  Hard Rock band WOLF from Chile. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band’s name rise from the nickname of “Wolf Kalavera” which was used in a Role’s game.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Because our influences, Rock music for headbanging, moving your foot, melting faces!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We knew to Wolf Kalavera through the scene in Valparaíso and sharing with friends

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Benja Drummer: Metallica, Pantera, Dio, Dream Theater, X Japan, Loudness, Helloween, Led Zeppelin y Luna Sea.

W. Kalavera Bass player: Judas Priest, ACDC, Scorpions, Black Sabbath James Vocal : Queen, pink floyd, marilyn manson, rammstein, metallic.

LALO Guitar player: Dream Theater, Metallica, Guns' n Roses, Pink Floyd, Symphony X, Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

From our own experiences, e. g., hunger, sadness, addictions, light and darkness. 

6. Where was your last gig?

In different Valparaíso’s bars.

7. Where would you like to act?

On a big stage, maybe touring through different countries in South America, and why not Europe.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Any band who feels rock music strong and loud

9. Whom not?

Any reggaetton “band”

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Not stage fright, only the adequate amount of nervousness and anxiety. More than a tip, maybe a suggestion: the band before a presentation should have hard work in rehearsals. This is very important for confidence in the own performance and the connection with the band's other members.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Everyone has a different inspiration, would be unfair named only one band. We like rock music in a wide form.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

After a gig, a girl sent a picture -to a band member- of her tits and told him: have sex with your wife looking at these melons. Always people ask for pictures with us. 

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are one of the most important parts of this project... music without interaction with someone is only for exercise... so fans and their comments are inspirations for continuing with this.

14. What do you think of our site?

An excellent platform for sharing and developing music, an opportunity to climb to the next level in our career.
