Interviews: BULLET TO THE HEART

We have had the opportunity to interview the  Alternative Metal/Hard Rock band BULLET TO THE HEART from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or come out just like that?

Audrey: The name comes from a song lyric, I wrote the song "Bulletproof", the title track of our first album, which contains the lyric "I took a bullet straight to my heart and it ricocheted to you".

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Draven: "We never set out to play a particular genre, we started playing music that we liked and that inspired us and this was the end result"

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Draven: "Audrey and I were together in a previous band"

Tom: "Brian and I have known each other since middle school"

4. Each band member's favourite band?

B: "Three Days Grace

D: "Avenged Sevenfold"

A: "Pearl Jam"

T: "Rise Against"

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Brian: "Songs write themselves when I feel a way that I can't articulate with words"

6. Where was your last gig?

Draven: "Supporting Butcher Babies on their vs Goliath tour"

7. Where would you like to act?

Brian: " I would love to play Open Air in Chicago"

Tom: "I would love to play in New Orleans"

Draven: "Red Rock Amphitheater

Audrey: "I'd like to preform on Freemont Street in Vegas"

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Audrey: "David Draiman of Disturbed"

9. Whom not?

Tom "Chris Taylor Brown from Trapt"

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Audrey: "I have a horrible straight fright, but it's gotten easier over time, you just have to force yourself through it and it gets better with practice"

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Audrey: a older band that inspired us is Evanescence, a newer band that inspires us is Spirtbox"

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Audrey: " Someone asked and that went to kiss my neck without asking"

13. What do you think of your fans?

Brian: "I think our fans are uniquely passionate, dedicated and supportive".

14. What do you think of our site?

Brian: "It is well organized and streamlined"
