Interviews: Dusk

We have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore/Djent band Dusk from Saudi Arabia. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, did you plan it or did it just happen?

I actually did plan it. Dusk is my own stage name, I am a one man band and I spasificly choose this name to reflect the hard riffing and the melodic breakdowns in my music.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Because it's the only genre I actually enjoy playing and learning.

3. Favourite band of each band member?

Currents, Erra, Born of osiris.

4. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

The pure love of the genre and making music from nothing.

5. Where was your last gig?

It was a Halloween party.

6. Where would you like to act?

I’d like to go play internationally

7. Who would you like to collaborate with?

Currents, Jinjer, Erra

8. With whom not?

No one comes in mind when being asked this question, its only happy times here

9. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Do you have any tips for beginners on how to beat it?

I did suffer from this at the beginning, my tip is to be relaxed and completely dive in you instrument and forget your surroundings.

10. What bands have inspired you the most?

Buckethead in my early years playing the electric guitar, and currents and Volumes nowadays.

11. What's the craziest thing a fan has ever asked you to do?

I haven't had the pleasure of sharing such stories yet hahaha.

12. What do you think of your fans?

I absolutely love them and appreciate any kind of support they decide to show. 

13. What do you think of our website?

I like it! And I especially love the free music section.
