Band Biographies: Lychlake

Work began on this album in towards the end of 2018. After getting some ideas to a presentable state Harry showed Michael whom he knew from a previous band. At that point Michael jumped on as drummer and lyricist. Deciding that the album should be their own version of Kit Marlowe's 'Doctor Faustus' Harry and Michael proceeded to weave music and prose together the best they could. They worked together until almost everything was complete. However still needing a vocalist they searched low and high until eventually coming across Jack from Dark Asphyxia. The final piece of the puzzle was there. With that vocal recording began in the summer of 2020. Frustrating held up by the Covid- 19 pandemic the album was finally ready by Autumn 2021.
