Interviews: Triggering Trauma

We have had the opportunity to interview the Industrial Death Metal band Triggering Trauma from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or come out just like that?

Ren Marabou actually named the project, I was going to call it #KillYourLocalPedophile. But Triggering Trauma fits what we do. It's how we heal.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

I love all rock and metal music, I'm drawn more to metal and all its sub-genres because what I have to say can not be said any other way. I like to pick a different genre for each demon that I am trying to conquer or for each emotion that I am trying to convey.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, Ren Marabou is from a band Called Ren Marabou and The Berserkers, They are represented by my company Misanthropik Records Promotion and More.

4. Each band member favourite band?

This question is always hard because I just like a lot of music, but for me my top 5 would have to be Black Sabbath, Death, Slayer, Pantera,Six Feet Under. There's so many more and that list isn't even fair because it changes with mood and emotion.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I have something to say, I have a story that I need to share, and I hope that my story can help someone else just as music helped me in my darkest moments.

6. Where was your last gig?

We have not yet been able to perform live. neither of us lives in the same country

7. Where would you like to act?

I'd love to perform at Wakkan.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Marilyn Manson , Rob Zombie and Korn. I think that would be pretty awesome

9. Whom not?

Anything Country.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

So before you go on stage, just scream Yeah Boy as loud as you can. You can relax now because you've just done the weirdest thing you'll do all night, relax and just let it go.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Slayer, Death, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Twisted Sister, Kiss,Six Feet Under, Testament, Korn, Marilyn Manson, White Zombie, Nine Inch Nails, etc etc etc

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

It's strange I've never had a fan ask me anything weird, but I guess it's because of the content of the music, we've had fans message us about things that had happened to them. I like that the music has helped some people heal or cope. It's just a strange feeling when someone feels you are worthy of connecting with them. That's the power of music.

We love and cherish each and everyone who gave us an opportunity to be heard. We apperciate all of you
