Interviews: THE HUMAN TORNADO

We have had the opportunity to interview the Groove Rock band THE HUMAN TORNADO from Italy. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or come out just like that?

The name comes from a '70 action-comedy movie with Rudy Ray Moore.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We didn’t choose it...the genre chose us! It is the natural consequence of the mix of our musical influences.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Absolutely yes! First of all we're friends, secondly we all played in other projects known in local underground.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our writing process is not predefined. We are as instinctive as focused and compact. Starting from a personal idea, we work to give it a homogeneous structure, and each one of us contributes to this perfect mechanism to develop the song until his maximum potential.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last concert as headliner was at "Cá Vaina" in Imola for the closing night of the club. It was a great honor for us to have been there but it was even nicer to see the club reopen with a new management, even more solid, and inclined to promote underground music.

7. Where would you like to act?

Wherever there is someone who can have fun with our music and maybe become our fan.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We would like to play with all bands that make music with love and passion and not for personal ego.

9. Whom not?

We wouldn't like to play with bands that are not humble in what they do and that consider themselves more important than music.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We can’t be afraid to do the most beautiful thing in the world. There is no time for fear when you’re on stage and want to give it all yourself.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Metallica, Stone Sour and Alterbridge.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

During the shooting of our first videoclip "Better The Devil You Know" we used an inflatable doll. One of our fans asked us to give it to him...We couldn’t do it for fear that something bad might happen to her!.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are our strength and power! They are the reason why we keep making new music.
