Behind The Artworks: Brundarkh - The Dark Tree (2022)

Seeing as the 'root' of this Dark Tree (cult) is showing its face in cities like Gondor, I thought it appropriate to have the cover show this set of armour from a soldier of Gondor.

The emblem of the tree of Gondor is branded across the breastplate. The armour is worn out and has seen a lot of battle, but it's also dirty and full of grime to signify the corruption of that which is good, namely the light from the White Tree of Gondor.

The tree though bright on the cover has in fact become dark and like the days before king Aragorn's return the tree is withering and without blossoms. It all is symbolic of the coming darkness...the fall of men, yet again.
