Interviews: Masque Of Art

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?

Actually, we were trying very little to come up with the name. It was right there. We are Masque of Art

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We were born into this genre. We just love, Queen, Beatles, Styx, Toto, Van Halen, City Boy, etc. So this is a mix of our influences

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Absolutely, Peter (Drummer) and I played in Neon Rose, and Naked, who toured a lot. But we all knew each other as players long before that.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

We do love pretty much the same: Van Halen, Beatles, Toto, Styx, City Boy, and all of that genre. Then we do have different bands or artists that we enjoy, but as a band, this is pretty much it

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

It ́s me (Mike) and Jörgen J Anderson that writes all the music. Jörgen comes up with the main song, and I write lyrics to it. Inspiration is all the bands mentioned above.

6. Where was your last gig?

We still didn't do our first gig as a band

7. Where would you like to act?

Everywhere, and with anyone who would have us.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Any great act that would have us

9. Who not?

None really. As long as it ́s within our genre, or close to it.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

No Stagefright whatsoever. Don ́t ever be afraid of doing what you love. It ́s like being afraid of having sex. Hahaha

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

I think different bands. Beatles, Toto, Styx, Van Halen is a few of them

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Come to my cabin (festival in Wales) and drink with us. Then we ́ll have sex ( I did ́nt. Happily married)

13. What do you think of your fans?

Just love them to pieces.

14. What do you think of our site?

It ́s GREAT, and we will promote it 100%
