Interviews: A Moments Notice

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?

The name came out of nowhere it got brought up as more of a joke and it stuck. Jordan and I loved it though so we kept running with it.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

I had started listening to a lot of the music I had grown up with as a teenager and for some reason even though Jordan and I were in a deathcore project; metalcore was calling my name harder each day.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Jordan and I were in a project prior, Jonny Avila (Guitarist) and Sergio Vega (bassist were best friends with each other and only knew us on social media. David Taylor (Guitarist) was brought in from our former bassist at the beginning of the project.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Greg: Northlane

Jordan: Currents

David: Iron Maiden

Jonny: Blink 182

Sergio: Deftone

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

My inspiration comes from a lot of the emotions of the old heavy metalcore and the rest of the band is in love with that era of music so we wanted to put a modern twist to the old sound.

6. Where was your last gig?

Oddly enough we have all not played a show together in this band but each of us were in projects prior to the world shutting down in 2020 so for us it's been about two years since we all were on a stage.

7. Where would you like to perform?

We badly want to play shows in the UK, Europe, and Australia it's our dream to get big enough to be out the U.S. for a tour.

8. Whom would you like to perform with?

We have a list that is pretty long but I would say the ones I would like to play with would be currents, Veil of Maya, a skylit drive, and the ghost inside.

9. Who not?

I think I can speak for anyone when we say we are happy to be offered shows regardless of who wants to play.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

As a band all of us deal with it to some degree, the trick to beating it I would say is breathing and finding your zen. Words of affirmations, saying that you are gonna have a great show and regardless of what happens we did our best and had fun doing it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

The Ghost Inside, Volumes, A Skylit Drive, and Alpha Wolf for sure have been the bands that inspired us the most.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I haven't had anything weird yet, I will have to send an email to you all when we have that one moment that has a loss for words.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are literally the best, we have got so much support from everyone and its amazing to see so many people loving what we do!

14. What do you think of our site?

I think it's pretty awesome allowing bands to have a platform to talk is truly amazing!
