Interviews: Bazerk

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?
I came up with the name Bazerk cause I didn't want our listener to guess what type of music it will be so when here the word bazerk you automatically think bizarre, weird crazy, wild, alternative everything I did that plan,
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
I play this genre because it lets us be outta the box, I used to do hip hop with the same old 16 bars then the normal hooks so I needed something to add that element to it so doing this genre allows this kinda creative.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Nope, I just had a vision of how I wanted my line up at first I wanted an all-black alternative band doing this genre but was hard to do, so I set off to find the best musicians who play this shit from scratch, didn't know anyone I was more like on a vibe then found each member who had a kill switch like me to be the best.
4. Each band member's favorite band?
Zu lead singer likes Prince, 420 Pete bass player likes slipknot Lamar the drummer loves Rage against the machine Memo guitar player loves red hot chili peppers.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
It's not one primary thing it's everything in my world to start a conversation about, what inspired is the underdog people in life who never gave up on themselves and also fail kept trying.
6. Where was your last gig?
Our last gig was in Los Angeles at our favorite spot where everybody knows our name in our hometown.
7. Where would you like to perform?
Here in Los Angeles at a place called the Greek theater that's when you know you big time
8. Whom would you like to perform with?
Several groups Red hot chili peppers, Rage, Linkin Park, limp Bizkit
9. Who not?
No country artist lol
10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright?
Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
Haha, that crap is self on self-doubt inside your head, we never had that but I got friends in bands who do, what I tell them to do like you were when you were a kid get in front of a mirror get a brush, pencil or spoon and practice your words and moving how you would perform in front of people get conformable been in front of a mirror with yourself then a show comes up to do the same thing you practice alone then the self-doubt will leave you.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Gez I would be here all day to answer that question I will just name a few Prince, Mudvayne, Slipknot, Korn, green day, David Bowie, beastie boys, run-DMC, Busta rhymes, the public enemy goes on.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
Haha, I got several things they ask for:
My notebook, underwear, my old phone, my left over dinner, this one really wild they asked for my sperm,or guy ask me to fuck his girl while he watch lol
13. What do you think of your fans?
I think they are just like me wild mothers fuckers who love to have a good time and supported me since 2005 I love them to death they come out in the pouring rain and cold waiting buy tickets they are the best!
14. What do you think of our site?
I like it it's pretty cool for fans to reach us and other bands who would never heard of us and this site is great for that.
