Interviews: The Silent Wedding

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?

We planned it. It was a combination of a chemical wedding and a secret marriage between different personalities.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Cause it comes out natural for us. We don’t plan anything.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

The two of us yes. The rest we met each other during the formation of The Silent Wedding.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Marios: Savatage

Jim: Kamelot

John: Korn

George: Opeth

Renos: Evergrey

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We get inspired by humanity in general. The everyday life. Our beloved ones. Literature, movies, and music.

6. Where was your last gig?

It was on the 15th of April in Temple Athens. It was the release live show for “Ego Path”.

7. Where would you like to act?

Everywhere around the world! But mostly where they love and accept our music. 

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Savatage. No question about it.

9. Who not?

We haven’t thought about someone that we wouldn’t like to play with.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes one of us has suffered a few times. The only tip is to breathe, concentrate and finally come out and play!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Savatage, Fates Warning, Kamelot, Evergrey, Iron Maiden, and many more…

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Maybe a cymbal from Renos?

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are the best around the world!! Love you all!!
