Interviews: Anachronistic

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?

I’ve personally always felt out of place in this life. I feel like I’m in the wrong time period or something along the lines of that. Anachronistic may not directly describe how I feel, but it’s decently close. The meaning of Anachronistic is 1: an error in chronology; especially: a chronological misplacing of persons, events, objects, or customs in regard to each other. 2: a person or a thing that is chronologically out of place; especially: one from a former age that is incongruous with the present. While deeply thinking about band names Anachronistic came to my mind and we agreed upon it. It sounds great, looks great in the logo, and has a meaning fitting for this band.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Being a massive music fan the majority of my life I have a pretty decent understanding and grasp of music in the punk, hardcore, and metal realm. The emotions, topics, and ideas needed to be powerful. I personally love Hardcore and Metal. I wanted to somehow mix hardcore-style vocals with black metal. I honestly believe it came out really well and anyone that is a fan of the “Umbrella” of Metal can take a little something away from this band. I love this band.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Not at all

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Blood For Blood / Slayer

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Being a music fan and living day-to-day life inspired me to go full tilt with this band. Once I got set into motion the idea to do an initial trilogy release was formed. Simply about crumbling in this realm. Our initial 3 releases are a trilogy. 700 and 19 Ways of Decay Deeper Into The Decay Full Decomposition My lifetime of experience, thoughts, bottled-up emotions, and day-to-day life are the actual inspiration for the majority of the songs I write. Life inspires me.

6. Where was your last gig?

No gigs, the band is only a recording / international band ….. For now

7. Where would you like to act?

Europe

Anyone who is understanding and accepting of Anachronistic

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

No

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Slayer, Dark throne, Burzum, Behemoth, MGLA, Type O Negative, Deicide

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Too early in this stage

13. What do you think of your fans?

Much respect if it reaches people who will become legitimate and loyal fans. That’s my dream is to build a fan base for this band to keep putting out music and merchandise.

14. What do you think of our site?

I absolutely love what you’re doing. It’s an incredible platform and great way to help fans and non-fans directly dive into bands.
