Behind The Artworks: Guillotine A.D. - Born To Fall (2022)

The cover art was conceived entirely by Eliran Kantor. We originally had the idea of a grand, epic hellscape, but he instead came up with this tense, evocative, intimate scene. He drew from themes in “Vultures of Paradise”, “Spiritual Insect”, and the title track to come up with his painting. It is a perfect synthesis of the ideas presented, and he did so in a way that is entirely ambiguous. I love how it means so many different things depending on who’s viewing it.
