Interviews: Ambassadors Of Eternity

This is a new interview with the Atmospheric AlternativeRock/Progressive Rock band Ambassadors Of Eternity from Finland. Check out the interview and follow the band on his FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?

Sammy: I had this band name year before this band came to be, I have had a jacket for decades that has a painted picture of Cult`s Sonic Temple album cover, below it is a text that I came up with “Ambassadors of Eternity” I just think that music lives over eternity and musicians are the ambassadors.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Sepi: We just wanted to do something different this time. We are very opened minded when comes to genres. Actually, we do not think of them at all. One song could be acoustic and the other Djent.. does not matter.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Sepi: Yes. I, Sammy, and Toni have been friends for years. But only me and Toni had played in the same band (Northern Discipline). Samuli was playing in a cover band called Haven and I wanted him to join our group.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Sepi: Hard to mention only one. But I can say Katatonia.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Sepi: I can´t control it. I just write all the time.. it is more like therapy for me. Life inspires.. of course, death/grief as well.

6. Where was your last gig?

We have not played any gigs yet -> Thanks to Covid19

7. Where would you like to perform?

Sepi: We would like to perform in any good venues and festivals.

8. Whom would you like to perform with?

VOLA, Karnivool, Katatonia..

9. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Sepi: I think not so much. Just practice so much that you are ready for the show. Give all you got!

10. What bands have inspired you the most?

Sepi: Opeth. Machine Head, Testament, Vola, Katatonia, Anathema
