Interviews: Bring Out Your Dead
This is a new interview with the Metal band Bring Out Your Dead from Spain. Check out the interview and follow the band on his FACEBOOK PAGE.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?
M.R. Boyd (vox & guitar): It was an idea of our drummer, because we both are great fans of Monty Python, hehe... Furthermore, we thought it was an original name.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
It's not that we wanted that... Just came out in a natural way, letting our influences flow. And we just love metal, if you mean that. But not only in this genre.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Yeah, we've been friends since we were in our former bands.
4. Each band member's favorite band?
The most difficult question ever... For some clues, see point #11.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
My favorite bands. Point #11 again hahaha...
6. Where was your last gig?
It was a kind of secret gig in a motor club here in Madrid.
7. Where would you like to act?
Monsters Of Rock, Moscow 1991.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
Bands that we respect.
9. Who not?
Bands that we don't.
10. Have any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
Yeah, when we were young. I'd always go to the bathroom moments before the concert hahaha! And a good tip is to get high and boozed the more you can. Then, have a piece of fruit. But before, you have to take a shit.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Of course, the classics: Metallica, Maiden, Pantera, Death, Celtic Frost, King Diamond, Alice In Chains, Pink Floyd, you know... also Mastodon, Freak Kitchen, Opeth, Alter Bridge, Devin Townsend... Want more?
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
To take her daughter to the "slaughter" ehem... hahaha... Real. But that happened a long ago.
13. What do you think of your fans?
They have wide open ears and no prejudices about music. Like us.
14. What do you think of our site?
A lot of work on it, congrats! And lots of bands featured (not us yet!). I personally like "Behind The Artworks"
