Interviews: ONE MIND MINISTRY

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

It is inspired by the similarly named sect. They drew attention cause they let a child starve to death because they refused to say Amen. This sums up all the shit that goes wrong in this world and just shows the viciousness of mankind.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

There is no particular reason that I could tell. You do not really choose a genre, you just create your music and someone tells you what genre it could be put into. 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

I cannot just name one band. We were influenced by so many bands over the years in so many different aspects, but the most significant would be black metal bands of the second wave and the classic death metal bands from the US, but of course there is so much more from all other genres….

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

The sickness of human nature and all the shit in this world is more inspiration than you could ask for.

6. Where was your last gig?

We played at Permafest in Dortmund, Germany.

7. Where would you like to act?

Kaos: There are so many places I like to play, I really can't tell.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Kaos: Although I know it doesn't fit musically, I would really like to collaborate with Till Lindemann, that would be fun.

9. Have any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

That's something you will overcome over the years. But in any case, I am convinced that it keeps you focused on being excited before the lights go out.

10. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I cant tell

11. What do you think of your fans?

They have to be very self-destructive, listening to our music and getting beaten up again and again.
