Interviews: Incoming Days

This is a new interview with the Rock/Metal band Incoming Days from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on his FACEBOOK PAGE

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?

InComing Days can mean a lot of things. It can reference the future and the state of the world, or anything else anyone is going through personally. It was something our bassist Chris came up with and we enjoyed the sound of it and the abbreviation of ICD.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We like to color outside the lines a little bit. We mix and bend and blend multiple genres. Honestly, a lot of people aren't quite sure what to call us or which box to place us in and I'm fine with that But we picked metal because it's energetic and powerful, punk rock because it's fun, and the attitude of it all. Rap influences me lyrically because it gives me more tools and tricks to tell my story and explain my message.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

A little but not too much. Travis and Chris had known each other from local bands years before, and Scott and Chris knew each other through a mutual friend. But that's about it.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Wyatt: Atilla

Travis: Pantera

Scott: Metalica

Chance: Gojira

Chris: Foo Fighters

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Lyrically they're about all sorts of random pieces of life. Observations, stories, feelings. Everybody goes through things, and nobody has a perfect life. And we're trying to encompass that in our lyrical themes. Musically we write music that's inspired by our emotions. Long before we ever finalize a song or have lyrics to it we feel the emotion of what the raw music feels like and that's what inspires us to write, our emotions as humans.

6. Where was your last gig?

Richland, WA the day after our album release show in Spokane WA. Although I am currently on my way to Tacoma, WA right now for a gig tonight!

7. Where would you like to act?

Everywhere and Anywhere if we can make it makes sense. We are trying to see the world and take incoming Days all over it.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Bucket Head, Zakk Wylde, Victor Whooten, Dave Lombardo, Snow Tha Product.

9. Who not?

None

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Confidence is key. Practice until you are confident about your product.

Attila, BodyCount, Pantera, A day to remember.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing to crazy. Our fans are an awesome bunch.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They're great. We feel all the love and support. And we try and give back 10 fold when we take the stage or make a record. As well as just hanging out with them.
