Interviews: Of Sullivan

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Rock/Metal band, Of Sullivan from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?

A high school teacher would address some of us by first name or last name. Sullivan is my last name, I thought it would be interesting to term these songs "Of Sullivan"

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We play what has influenced us. We draw from a wide range of styles

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, we toured together in separate bands from 2007-2009

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Deftones and Soundgarden

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I grew up around music and it's always been in my life. We are inspired by various artists and life situations.

6. Where was your last gig?

Funny enough, we have not played a show as Of Sullivan yet.

7. Where would you like to act?

Anywhere that will have us

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Kendrick Lamar, Chino Moreno, Caleb Shomo (Beartooth), John 5

9. Whom not?

Chad Kroeger, Secondhand Serenade

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We don't typically deal with stage fright. Our pre-show ritual is just getting tunnel vision and confidence.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Deftones, Soundgarden, Underoath, Tool, Incubus, Fiona Apple, Between the Buried and Me

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

To get married
