Behind The Tracks: Bring The Hoax - Jonestown (Single) (2022)

When we wrote Jonestown, we were thinking a lot about Weezer's record Pinkerton which has great song structures and melodies. Therefore, the verse became dynamic and then landed in a more straight chorus.

The text is somewhat inspired by events that took place in the jungle, in the deepest of Guyana. Events that are still relevant in today's society where we question less and less.

In an age where source criticism never has been needed as much as now - but has been replaced by godliness to our prophets online - we wonder who we really should look up to, the ones we trust, or the ones we follow.
