Behind The Tracks: Pressure - Sacramental Anger (Single) (2022)

This is Simon from Pressure and we are happy to tell you a little about our latest track “Sacramental anger”. It is a song with an almost supernatural theme. It’s a symphonic/melodic rock song with a suggestive melody and enchanting lyrics. Olli, who wrote the lyrics, says this about the song.

“We all want to be loved, but it would be much easier if we could add a little magic to achieve this. “Sacramental Anger” is about all-consuming love, but different love: unstoppable, inescapable, ruthless, and frightening. When our desires intoxicate the mind, we go ahead ignoring all obstacles.

This song tells a story of a solitary witch who can bend anyone to her will.

Slowly but surely, she lures into the depths of a mystical forest, enchanting with a gentle lullaby. And there will be no chance to wake up from this hypnosis.”

The song was very interesting to make and we had to work really hard to get the right mood for it. We wanted the sound to be exactly right for this type of lyrics and we had to make a lot of changes to the initial draft of the song. Then our producer, Izzy Ander, did some magic of her own on the song and the result was something that we were really proud of. One of our best songs released up to today.

Another fun fact about this song is that we did our music video on three different locations in two different countries but Olli who did the video was able to make it really fit together.
