Interviews: ANTHROPIC

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Grindcore band, ANTHROPIC from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Our Founding member was studying Astrology and came across the Anthropic Principle and used the name!

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We have all grown up with Metal in some fashion and it is in our veins!! Grind is the only way!!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

3 of us knew each other for years and we met the singer when he joined!

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Ringworm, Obituary, Terrorizer, and Dying Fetus

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

The music itself is what drives us. We attempt to be as brutal as possible.

6. Where was your last gig?

Norwich, NY! We play pretty frequently, we already have 10 shows lined up from now until June

7. Where would you like to act?

Obscene Extreme!!! Bucket list for sure!!!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Napalm Death and Carcass would be awesome. We'll play anywhere with anybody though! the stage is where it's at!

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Everyone does at some point. As you gain stage experience it doesn't really affect you any longer. Know the material and fright is not a factor!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

All of the old-school bands for sure!!!!

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing out of the ordinary! we did get asked to play ano holds barred backyard-style wrestling match! That will be in our future!!!

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are awesome!!! without them, it would not be as fun!!
