Interviews: Turanis
On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Gothic Metal one-man project, Turanis from the UK. Check out the interview and follow the project on his FACEBOOK PAGE.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
Hey hope all is well, actually, the name came from an old word I found, tyranis and all I did was change the y to a u, just rolled off the tongue.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
It's music I enjoy myself, I tend to write what I want to hear.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Actually, it's just me, the guests of which allot, came via the producer (Mark Mynett) I gave him the option of finding who he wanted to appear.
4. Each band member's favorite band?
Mine are my dying bride, paradise lost and rotting christ,
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Bands mentioned above and the fans, I get so many nice convos from the fans that the strength to keep going comes,
6. Where was your last gig?
Not done one in a while but be lovely to get back to
7. Where would you like to act?
Bloodstock....the most impressive festival I've ever been to.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
Already done it but he's not just on one song he's on a few that are to come later in the year mr Aaron stainthorp of my dying bride
9. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?
Yeah, I think we all have, but to cure it just focus on something at the back of the audience until it passes, that way you don't notice the eyes watching you.

Adore each and every one and I will take the time to talk as long as they are polite,
