Interviews: King Kaos
King Kaos is a Death Metal/Darkened Thrash Metal band from the USA. In this interview, we discuss their history, future plans, and inspirations. Follow the band on their Facebook page for more updates.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
The name was thought of by my wife Leyla. Originally it was spelled King Chaos then my drummer Anton decided to change the spelling to King Kaos. We decided that was the name.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
I've always loved metal and as the years went by my taste got heavier and more aggressive so it was natural.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
We did not know each other prior to forming the band.
4. Each band member's favorite band?
I'm not sure about the rest of the guys but mine is Guns n roses.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Classic 80's metal singers and classic rock singers. Life events inspire me sometimes.
6. Where was your last gig?
Our last gig was at the Viper Room in Hollywood. We headlined and it was our record release party.
7. Where would you like to act?
I personally would like to play the Troubadour in Hollywood.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
We'd love to play with either Metallica or Megadeth one day.
9. Whom not?
MGK.
10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?
We have all played many gigs so no stage fright. My tip for beginners is to focus on your music and your playing; don't worry about the audience.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Guns N Roses, Metallica, Queensryche, Queen, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, Megadeth, Iron Maiden to name a few. Too many on my list.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
Can't recall a weird request at this time. Nothing too weird so far.
13. What do you think of your fans?
I love our fans, they're the best fans in the world.
14. What do you think of our site?
I like it! It's great!
15. Something to add?
Look us up online and add us to your playlists. King Kaos Metal. Thank you for your time! Stay Metal!!
