Interviews: Numeron
On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Atmospheric Post-Black Metal band, Numeron from Indonesia. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
So the name I get inspired by the Lord of the ring movie Numenor and I modify the
name to Numeron for easy reading...
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
Because of my boredom with fast, brutal, and loud genres, I want music that is
heavy but has a sweet and calm element in it and this genre is also one of my
remedies when I'm stressed, it's very relaxing
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Yes, my old friend, I've been in a band with my guitarist and bassist since 2011,
and my vocalist is also an old friend who also had a band before.
4. Each band member's favorite band?
Agatha: Alcest, Bring Me the Horizon, As I Lay Dying
Lutfi: Nirvana, Metallica, The Beatles
Ayok: MØL, Loathe, Sheila on 7
Galih: Jyoco, Heriot, Peterpan
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
When listening to a song, any song suddenly came up with an idea and I
immediately wrote it down, fun fact for the Road to Valhalla album I prepared 28
songs and only 7 songs were selected
6. Where was your last gig?
Blitar City, Indonesia, 4 February 2023
7. Where would you like to act?
Hopefully one day I can do a European tour
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
Of course Alcest
9. Whom not?
Seems like nothing, but while still in line and good, we keep going.
10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?
Yes, of course, we have experienced it since we first played music until now, to
overcome this we often practice once a week. And also just enjoy being on stage,
then warming up before going on stage.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Mayhem and Behemoth brought me to know black metal music and its
subgenres.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
So far nothing, still within reasonable limits
13. What do you think of your fans?
Amazing, once while playing in my area there were fans who were far from out
of town about 5-6 hours of travel coming to the event just to see Numeron.. that
was amazing
14. What do you think of our site?
Extraordinary and great, very helpful for a new band. From the web, you can also
find other bands for inspiration.
15. Something to add?
Hopefully Numeron's work will be well received and can inspire people. We
believe music is medicine.
