Behind The Artworks: Neolia - Neolia (2023)

The art is basically a collage of the story behind the lyrics and music. It gives you a glimpse of the main character’s (Alex) journey, conflicts, and demons that travel along with him.

The mask is a way of hiding, so we don't get hurt or exposed. The hands ripping the body and mask reflect the need to let the past go and let emotions out so we can evolve.

The demons always exist and are around us waiting for us to create an opening for them to come inside, but if we learn to manage them we will be able to control and redirect them to a contained area. The birds relate to two edges of Alex’s personality, part gentle and fragile and part primal and ruthless, which are all very human.
