1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

When this project first started we all were sitting around and wanted to come up with a band name, so we asked each other what we sound like and the bass player at the time Ben Layand who is a former marine said we sound like a machine gun BELTFED WEAPON and there it was

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

I have grown up listening to metal and always thought as a kid how cool would it be to be able to play music like this one day

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

No and betfed has turned into more of a project with the occasional live show there have been quite a few different people involved since the beginning.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

I can't speak for other guys but my favorite band is iron maiden there are so many great bands out there but maiden has still stayed my top favorite

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I like to have songs written about war-related but also like to push the envelope a bit with other concepts sometimes it's about things I personally have experienced I like to write about depression and narcissism as well as people can relate to these things as sometimes they are everyday life.

2017 at studio 7 in seattle wa opening for morbid angel

7. Where would you like to act?

70,000 tons of metal

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

So many great bands id love to play with iron maiden, exodus, exhorter, morbid angel, Kreator, destruction, and into eternity just to name a few

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

I did at the 1st couple gigs, but as you rehearse with your band and you feel confident in your parts that will help you know you have your shit together and are tight just focus on playing your set done even worry about the crowd nyet that will come very soon, especially when you get done playing a song and you get a good reaction that's an awesome feeling

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Nevermore, maiden, testament, exodus, onslaught just to name a few

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

To autograph a body part and it wasn't her boobs that was a bit odd

13. What do you think of your fans? 

My fans are great they are very supportive I even have a lot of people from my job who are not into metal much even support bfw which is very cool, I am hoping to reach out and gain new fans as well and I think with the new music that is definitely doable
