1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
The band name originates from the book Watership Down. There's a line that reads 'Zorn! Zorn!' cried the dreadful squealing voice. 'All dead! O ZORN!' Zorn basically means Destroyed or catastrophe
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
I'm not even sure exactly what genre we are in at this time. We've been labeled a few things. Doom, sludge, post-sludge, post-metal, etc. We like playing this type of music because we're able to get loud, get atmospheric, kinda punk in spots. It's rad to touch on a few different styles, but still, sounds like the same band.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
We've switched a few band members over the years. The current lineup didn't really know each other at all before getting together.
4. What is your favorite band?
That changes a lot. Been listening to Show Me The Body quite a bit. Love to throw on some Black Breath
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
I'm inspired by emotions. Sadness can get the creative juices flowing, but so can happiness.
6. Where was your last gig?
The Prospector in Long Beach CA
7. Where would you like to act?
We like playing anywhere, where there's a good sound system. Makes a big difference when you're on stage trying to vibe with each other.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
No one in particular. As long as their fans like what we do, and vice versa.
9. Whom not?
We don't want to play with any ska or reggae bands.
10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?
Fuck yeah. Not so much anymore, but when I first started out, for sure. Half a Percocet will certainly do the trick
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Hmmm. Soundgarden, Jeff Buckley, and Early hardcore bands. Lots of early punk.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
Someone asked me if they could have my pedal board, and kept asking me all night. The dude was wasted.
13. What do you think of your fans?
Most are pretty fuckin awesome.
14. What do you think of our site?
Looks pretty cool to me. You guys are helping spread the word. It means a lot to us bands trying to make a name for ourselves. Please keep doing it.
15. Something to add?
Thank you very much.
