Interviews: PANSSARITUHO

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Death Metal band, PANSSARITUHO from Finland. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We wanted a death-thrash type of name. Name that had something about the war in it. We started off in English and the name was panzer holocaust, but when we decided to change the language to finish, it translated to Panssarituho.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We are all fans of extreme music. This band was the chance to play more extreme music than we had played in our previous bands.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, we did. We have been in the same bands before and friends even before that.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

This is too hard a question. There are too many to list here.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Human stupidity is a great resource.

6. Where was your last gig?

The last gig was in our hometown with another hometown band and the place was packed.

7. Where would you like to act?

We would definitely like to play in some Finnish Deathfest, but to get in Europe or further would be a dream come true.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We would like to get on the same stage with Cannibal Corpse, but seriously it would be fun to play shows with bands from the same genre.

9. Whom not?

Pick any rap artist you know.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Not really. Just concentrate on the songs and you will be just fine.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Deicide, Morbid Angel, Sotajumala, Kreator, Slayer, Impaled Nazarene, Mayhem..... there are too many to mention.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing too strange this far.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Fans a great. If someone really likes our music and supports us, that's the best thing we can ever achieve.

14. What do you think of our site?

Breathing the Core is a very professional and comprehensive site. There is so much to read that you can easily spend hours on your site.

15. Something to add?

Thank you to everyone who supports the underground scene. You are pure gold. Your time and effort is priceless.
