Interviews: BUZZED & LOADED

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Hard Rock band, BUZZED & LOADED from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Rob came up with it the first time he and Buzz got together to play music. It was meant to reflect the party flavor of the hard rock they were playing. It reflects our lifestyle.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Rob: All of us grew up listening to it, and we feel honored to put our own twist on it. It's the best music to drink to.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Buzz: Rob & I were internet friends with a mutual love of great Canadian Rock Bands and beer.

Andy: Rob & I met in a band called Fluffer 15 years ago.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Rob: Iron Maiden

Andy: Black Sabbath

Buzz: AC/DC

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Rob: I have had a crazy life so I pull all my lyrics out of all those wild experiences. Whether it's being shot at by an ex-lover, being electrocuted on stage, or mistaking a toxic burning cream for lube for lovemaking. They all make it into song content for me. Music wise I dream most of what I turn into songs. 

Andy: I am truly inspired by all the music I grew up listening to. I grab my bass and hit the record button on my phone every time a riff hits me. Buzz: Spontaneous moments in life, and reflections of past mistakes.

6. Where was your last gig?

A place in Seattle called The Bootstrap.

7. Where would you like to act?

Buzz: The Whiskey A Go-Go or the Hammersmith Odeon

Rob: Madison Square Gardens

Andy: Somewhere tropical like the Bahamas.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

AC/DC, Saxon, UFO, Judas Priest, ACCEPT, or Iron Maiden

9. Whom not?

Brittney Spears, Beyonce, or Nickelback

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Absolutely that is why they invented tequila shots. Seriously, just be prepared and you will feel much less nervous. Rob likes to picture everyone naked unless his parents are in the audience. You can also dress up like KISS and no one will know what you really look like if you end up sounding bad once you get out of the costumes. Buzz suggests becoming a drummer so you can hide behind your drum kit.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Black Sabbath, The Who, Alice Cooper, UFO, AC/DC, Whitesnake, and DIO

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Buzz: Call their Mom and talk sexy to them.

Andy: To sign a drumstick...and I am the bass player.

Rob: To get intimate with them while their brother smoked crack and watched us. The scary thing is she was a school teacher.

13. What do you think of your fans?

The fans are our drinking buddies now. We love them, and they have been very supportive and generous. Everything we do is to create a big party with them.
