Track By Tracks: Elle Tea - Fate Is At My Side (2023)
1. Fate Is At My Side:
The last song composed for the album. It
ended to be the opener having a positive sound and very melodic vocal
lines. It's about knowing who you are and facing the troubles that life puts
in your way. In my opinion, it's a very enjoyable track that carries a good
message and very classic sword and sorcery lyrics.
2. An Awaited sign:
This one is about a warrior that leaves his house
to go on a journey he was destined to. He does not know what the future will
bring but the signs are clear and the sea recalls him of his destiny.
3. Part Of The Devil:
I quite like the atmosphere of this song and in
the ending it also has some Italian lyrics. Having an encounter with evil
forces is never a good thing but we all are made of good and evil and
there'll always be some kind of a charming nature in that secret part we
keep in the depth of ourselves.
4. Voice Of Time:
A very simple melodic song about some introspective
suggestions. One of the first songs written for the album it has a very 80's
rock finale.
5. Riding In The Dust:
The oldest song by far, I remember writing
the first raw version at 16 on the main riff. It's about living free, riding
fast, and following dreams. In the days I wrote this I used to listen a lot to
Saxon (one of my all-time favs).
6. Burning Soul:
This is some kind of a breakup song. It's not
necessarily about love but about the ending of a relationship and its
consequences. I like it quite a lot for the strong riffing and vocals.
7. The Wandrer:
The final track tells the story of a mysterious figure
with a connection to the natural world. He brings words of wisdom to
those willing to listen. No one knows his name or where he comes
from.
