Band Biographies: Lies We Sold

Lies We Sold is a Parisian Metalcore band formed in 2018. The band consists of Anthony Lossmann on vocals, Florian Bernard-Floirac on drums, Alexandre Jacob, and Quentin Locatelli on guitars. Their music is a powerful blend of Metalcore and Progressive Metal, enriched with melodies influenced by Heavy Metal. In December 2019, they released their debut EP titled "Words", recorded at Axone Studios with the collaboration of Pierre Danel from Kadinja. This EP allowed the band to start performing live, sharing the stage with bands such as Any Given Day, Bleed From Within, Betraying the Martyrs, Dragged Under, and recently Ten56. The band followed up with the release of a new EP titled "Upside Down" on April 2, 2021. It was mixed and mastered by Nicolas Exposito from Landmvarks and distributed on digital platforms with the support of Blood Blast Distribution. 2023 marks a new era for Lies We Sold, with the addition of Maxime on bass, strengthening their lineup. A new single titled "Ethereal Dreams" was released in February 2023, still in collaboration with Blood Blast Distribution and showcasing the mixing and mastering talents of Nicolas Exposito. On April 21, 2023, Lies We Sold delighted their fans with the release of their new single, "Lost & Found". This energetic and direct track highlights the band's characteristic fusion of Metalcore and Progressive Metal. To maintain the excitement, the band plans to release one more single, "Cracked Open", on June 9, before the release of their upcoming 5-track EP scheduled for late September 2023.
