Behind The Artworks: The River - A Hollow Full Of Hope (2023)
The album cover is a double exposed photograph of a foil wrapped rose and some seaweed I
found on the shore, when out for a walk at a nature reserve, several years ago. It doesn’t
really symbolise anything, or even relate to the music that much, it simply has nice textures
and colors to it. I guess you could say it’s deliberately ambiguous, inviting the listener to
approach the music on their own terms, but that wasn’t necessarily a consideration when
choosing the photograph as the album cover. We just thought it looked nice!
