Behind The Artworks: Speed Limit - Cut A Long Story Short (2023)

As the album title refers to the nearly 40 years of Speed Limit – indeed a long story – and the meaning to put the essence of that story into one album. The cover artwork tries to implement the words in a different manner:

There is a wild west Bowie-knife for „cut“, a lit candle on a late baroque candle stand for „long“, an old clerical book from the 18th century for „story“, and a antique hourglass for „short“. On the back of the cd/album cover you can see the band handle these four items which can be interpreted in many different ways – no solution given.
