Behind The Tracks: PARKER - Ucluelet (Single) (2023)

‘Ucluelet’ is a song about a small town on the west coast of Canada that I played a show in while on tour there about five years ago. I fell in love with the place and will never forget it. I’ve always wanted to go back but still haven't returned—this song is as close as I’ve got. I actually came up with the initial idea for the song whilst I was in Canada in 2018 but didn’t actually get round to finishing it until 2020 during lockdown when I was writing the album. It’s definitely the closest thing on the record to a sentimental, nostalgic love song.”
