In this new interview, we sat down with the Swedish Esoteric Melodic Rock band The Sigil to ask some questions about their new album "Argante". 

1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?

This new EP, Argante, is a way for us to explore mystical and esoteric themes that have always been close to our hearts as a band. It represents a significant milestone in our musical journey, and we've poured our hearts and souls into this release.

2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?

The name "Argante" holds a special significance for us. It is derived from ancient mythologies and carries the essence of duality and opposing forces. In some ways, it encapsulates the overarching themes explored throughout the album.

3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?

The composition process for this album was mainly performed by our main writer TG, though the final touches were a collaborative effort. We believe that our collective creativity and shared vision have contributed to the unique sound and atmosphere of the album.

4. If you have to pick one song, which one would you pick?

Oh, that's a tough one! Each song on the album holds a special place in my heart, but if I had to pick one, I would choose "The Shape of Shadows." It encapsulates the essence of the album, with its atmosphere and versatility.

5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is what it is?

Yes, there is a special message we want to convey through this album. We want to inspire listeners to embark on their own personal quests for self-discovery, spiritual enlightenment, and a deeper understanding of the universe. We aim to ignite a sense of curiosity and exploration, encouraging individuals to embrace their own inner mysteries and dive into the depths of their souls.

6. Are there some lyrics that you´d love to share?

All the lyrics will be revealed once the EP is released.

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank especially?

The inspirations for this album are multi-faceted. Musically, we drew inspiration from various genres, including progressive rock, psychedelia, and classic rock. We are grateful for the support and encouragement from our friends, families, and loved ones throughout the creative process. Their unwavering belief in our artistic vision has been instrumental in bringing this album to fruition, and we owe them a special debt of gratitude.
