Interviews: Vantablack Warship

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Thrash Metal/Hardcore Punk band, Vantablack Warship from Canada. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We first came up with Vantablack Worship and we thought it was too religious so we changed the "o" for an “a" which gave us the Warship!

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Because I love this style of music

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Yes. We all played in bands that knew each other in Montréal.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

I can't answer for everyone, but for me, I like Ghost S.O.D. Vio-lence Obituary

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I never had the patience to learn other people's songs, that's why I started to write songs

6. Where was your last gig?

Valleyfield with Demonstöne.It was a cool sold-out show.

7. Where would you like to act?

Any venue that has a good setup (stage, PA)

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Any band that has a good attitude and are nice people 9. Whom not? 9 Any bands that are Rockstars

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

I have anxiety sometimes before a show. What I do is concentrate on my instrument and tell myself I will have a good time.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

I would say, Van Halen, S.O.D, Dead Horse (from Texas), and a lot more

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

For me, it's signing autographs since we are not well known.

13. What do you think of your fans?

I believe that they are intelligent and good people

14. What do you think of our site? 

I think your site is great and easy to navigate. Really cool. Keep up the good work
