Behind The Artworks: Hooker Spit - Krötch Splitter (2023)

Vlad: Yeah, we played around a bit with what the album name was going to be when we were putting together all the songs. When Krötch Splitter came up we knew that would truly be the only appropriate name for our debut. From there we played around with how we’re gonna present this without pissing off too many people (which inevitably happened anyways hahaha). So we drew up a real rough drunken sketch of the lady from our Demo art holding a Chainsaw and hacking this chick up from the chick’s perspective. After sending it out to our artist and lifelong friend PaleaRaptor, she made some remarks and asked us if we wanted to go classy or all out gory with it. So we decided to keep it “classy” but still had to censor it for social media once we announced it due to it being taken down multiple times. Regardless of that, we are all super happy with how it came out. One of my personal favorite surprises was how she placed the album name Krötch Splitter on the chainsaw.
