Behind The Artworks: Kilmore - From The Inside (2023)

The artwork was created by Stephen MacDonald (Task at Hand Illustrations) with direction from Heather Harris. The theme of the artwork came from a conversion about the album name “From the Inside” with Jon Landry (album producer), who had mentioned an imagery of a child feeling secure inside while so much chaos is happening outside. Heather used inspiration from Leonardo Da Vinci’s drawing on reproductive anatomy and imagery of the ouroboros serpent which symbolizes rebirth and the natural eternal cycle of destruction and re-creation. With this Stephen created an eerie piece of art which molded all our ideas together.
