Behind The Artworks: SPILLAGE - Phase Four (2023)

The concept originated from Tony Spillman, using a "mad scientist" theme, he mentioned this to Billy McGuffey, SPILLAGE bassist and artist who has come up with the previous two album covers. Since they nicknamed keyboardist Paul Rau the "Mad Scientist", Billy used Paul's likeness as the model for the album art. Paul, being a teacher at a Catholic School, appreciated the gesture, stating that Billy "made me the COOLEST teacher ever..."
