Interviews About Albums: Decayed - From Hell (2008)

In this new interview, we sat down with the Portuguese Black Metal band Decayed to ask some questions about their album "From Hell". 

1. What can you say about this new CD?

JA: These are recordings done way back in 2008. We were asked to record a new song for a compilation and the price was the same as to record a full set, so I chose some of the songs we played live back then, plus the new song and that was it.

2. What is the meaning of the CD name?

JA: I believe that these recordings are sent straight from Hell. The songs turned out different from the originals and the new song is very 80's... the raw sound... it is indeed... From Hell!

3. Which one is the composer of the CD?

JA: These are all my creations with the exception of the cover by SODOM.

4. If you have to pick one song, which one would you pick?

JA: The one I picked for the video... "Moonrise"... with that intro it gives it a whole new sound.

5. Is there a special message in this CD? If there is what it is?

JA: Do has thou wilt!

6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?

JA: The lyrics are on the booklet so if you have it you know it...

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank especially?

JA: The inspiration is always the same... Metal from the '80s
