Interviews: Denial Of Existence

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Brutal Death Metal band, Denial Of Existence from Colombia. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

I was looking for something that fits our message, our lyrics, and the sound we have. I am a fan of a certain era of the band brutal truth, and there is a song that I love in this case Denial Of Existence and it was like a flash all the lyrics went through my mind That is the history.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We have been faithful lovers of this genre for decades ago, have always wanted to play it, and have many ideas in this sense, especially in the musical aspect, We dedicate a large part of our lives to appreciating and playing death metal, and we also play another band and the genre is similar with Some shades and grind.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, of course, we met before, when we started playing together and composing in our other project Abysmal Domination, we created the music in both bands.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

It's always hard to choose one for me Alexander is Death and Suffocation And I have a very long list, Para Cesar Death and Slipknot he is a big fan of Joey Jordison.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

What inspires us to compose the lyrics is reality as it is, raw and uncensored, We reflect on the role of the human in history and society and its existence.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last concert was a couple of months ago with some local bands from the neighboring country of Ecuador in our city. It was a very brutal night.

7. Where would you like to act?

We would like to play a big festival like the Wacken open air, obscene extreme, Maryland death fest, And I don't know, hopefully, tour the United States and Europe.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

What a great question in our country with the massacre in Internal Suffering and abroad with Suffocation, Dying Fetus, Obituary, Morbid Angel, Carcass, Napalm Death Brutal truth........

9. Whom not?

It will not exclude anyone from the extreme genre but with whom not haha ​​with someone from pop music.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

We always deal with it, it's exciting to feel it in each show, it's easy for me, the first note starts and what comes is adrenaline and satisfaction.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Death, Suffocation, Carcass, Morbid Angel.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

The strangest thing that people have asked me is if we use effects for the voice and obviously it is not like that, everything is very natural.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We consider them as friends and people who appreciate our music, simply as followers, we do not see them with the term fan, we are the same.

14. What do you think of our site?

It's wonderful how you take the time to appreciate and promote the music and the bands. It is gratifying to know that there are people always around us supporting artists, especially extreme music, their work is very important to us and to their audience.
