Interviews: Scumfucks

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Heavy Metal/ Rock 'N' Roll band, Scumfucks from Greece. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It was not planned. It came up from various situations in our personal lives and our music career, but it’s not the right time to talk about it now.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

It’s a genre that we all 4 love, and it comes so easily and freely from within. Plus the fact that there are no more bands that play good music of this kind.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

DIM: Yes we knew each other before the band was formed. We are good friends. 

MORGOTH: Goulthor and I are playing together as WINTERDEMONS since 2001.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

DIM: MOTÖRHEAD.

MORGOTH: KING DIAMOND.

JIM: JUDAS PRIEST.

GOULTHOR: It’s difficult to pick just one, but in this case, I think I will say MOTÖRHEAD.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our everyday lives and situations that we face and of course MOTÖRHEAD.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was a mini festival in our hometown Thessaloniki.

7. Where would you like to act?

Everywhere in the world.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We guess with everyone. We don’t have a problem.

9. Whom not?

We never really thought about it.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

We never had such problems. As for the new musicians and bands, first of all, write really good music and face your live performances as a rehearsal with many friends.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

MOTÖRHEAD, JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, METALLICA…

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing crazy so far.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They’re really cool. You know it’s a type of music that appeals to all ages and musical styles, from rock and punk to extreme metal.

14. What do you think of our site?

It’s very nice. You do a very good job promoting and highlighting the bands. You know sometimes you have to dig deep to find diamonds.
