Interviews: Vörst

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Blackened Heavy Metal band, Vörst from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Vorst means Frost. I wanted the name to be Frost originally, but it didn't feel right. So I looked up the word in other languages and found Vorst.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

I love BM for the raw power and the fact that it is a sympathy of dark tremolo.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes. I've known Sabbatha for many years, but it wasn't until we reconnected after a Suicide attempt by me.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Sabbatha: Crass, Sex Pistols

Hellfrost: Broken Bones, Lady Gaga, English Dogs, Anti-Cimex.....

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

The power of Satanism and the Bullshit of corporations.

6. Where was your last gig?

Corpus Cristi Tx

7. Where would you like to act?

The whole world

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Wacken would be an honor. Always amazing bands. I'd like to perform with Lordi, Exodus, Destruction, Dimmu Borgir...

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

I have not. When I'm on stage my job is to take control and make people bang their fucking heads.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

I'd have to say, Queen, Gorgoroth, and Impaled Nazarene...

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Have an Orgy.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans, or HELLIONS as we call them, are absolutely amazing!!

14. What do you think of our site?

IDK haven't seen it, BUT if you're into METAL you are family.
