Behind The Artworks: Hardball - Hardball (2023)

Scott: The album cover shows a white cross with the name Hardball on it. I took the photo with assistance from my partner Sara, after building the cross out of pieces of moulding. We chose a dark, rainy night in January to grab the photo. I wanted to capture a striking image that leaves the viewer searching for meaning.

One possible interpretation is that the cross represents the end of this era of Hardball. These songs that took us years to properly document are now placed in their final resting place and we can finally move forward.
