Behind The Tracks: Stay For Tomorrow - Always You (Single) (2023)

Back in 2019, Joe was commuting to work when inspiration suddenly struck. He recorded some voice notes on his phone for this new song idea and saved it as ‘Always You’. Working from this hook, he wrote the majority of the lyrics and vocal melody from there. He approached the band with the ideas he had and we then worked on the song collectively; looking to make a feel-good, energetic love song with that Stay For Tomorrow alt/rock feel to it. It’s a song we have been going back to a lot as we kept re-writing the chorus until we found something that we know was ‘it’. The song was definitely worth all the time we poured into it and we’re glad we didn’t give up on it as we knew we had something special. The track was then recorded, mixed, and mastered at Gracenote Studios in Dunfermline.
