Behind The Tracks: The Wildfires Projekt - Going Blind (Single) (2023)

“Going Blind” was inspired by one of my favorite video game series Fallout which takes place in a post-nuclear era. The storyline follows a couple who have access to one of the exclusive vaults to take refuge in before the war begins, but believing she can do more outside of the vault, the girl decides to stay outside it. So, they separate, but right before the guy walks into the vault, he decides to turn around and find the girl. The lyrics “going blind just to hear you scream” is the guy going blind from the fallout around him while trying to find the girl. The scream is her screaming back to his calls so he can find her. Definitely had some fun with this one, and tried something new!
