Interviews: A Deadly Wish

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore band A Deadly Wish, from the USA. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

ADW: The band name came from our Vocalist he presented us with the name in 2009 he heard lyrics from Escape the Faith and grabbed the name and stuck with it.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

ADW: We decided to play this genre... well we enjoy it for one, and for the way we can structure the songs with sing-along hooks, Guitar harmonies, and fast pace drumming with some nut tickling Bass.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

ADW: Our Vocalist Jesse Riggi and Remigo Brunone are family members, Diego Grano is a long-time friend of Jesse's, and Jared Antolin our Bassist recruited him and Moke. Castro is a long-time friend of Diego so most of us have known each other for a while now.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Jesse: Slipknot

Jared: Currents

Remi: As I Lay Dying

Diego: Lorna Shore

Mike: The Black Dahlia Murder

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

ADW: Everyday Life/Struggles waking up every day period.

6. Where was your last gig?

ADW: HUNTINGTON BEACH CA

7. Where would you like to act?

ADW: Anywhere we are accepted and have fans mainly NYC would be cool

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

The Vocalist for Viel of Maya would be dope to feature on a track.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

ADW: Dont think we ever experienced stage fright... Some advice ... make sure you're ready with quality material to present on a stage the more confident you feel with you're band members, and songs the less you'll think. About the stage fright build up hype and the energy will just tale over..

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

ADW: The bands we have been inspired by are As Blood Runs Black, Volumes we have good relationships with these guys and we just stay inspired just by seeing what they do behind the scenes.

12. What do you think of your fans?

ADW: Our fans are legit and stay true to this day.

ADW: We appreciate everything you're doing on a grand level. The site is awesome great job guys!
